In 2025, Falkskär II underwent extensive renovations and upgrades, including the installation of four new cabins with double berths as well as two toilets on the main deck. Sound insulation has been installed between the engine room and the wheelhouse to improve onboard comfort.

In 2025, the vessel was sandblasted and painted ashore.
