A 236 Fällaren

Fällaren is one of Stockholm's most well-maintained pleasure crafts. Substantial investments have been made by her previous owners; blasting, painting and rebuilding. During the 1990s, she was converted into a pleasure craft.

In 2017, she was rebuilt to the current state and currently has three separate apartments. The machinery is serviced regularly. Former owners certified her as a recreational vessel for Swedish area C. Today, upgrading of radio and security equipment is required to obtain a Swedish area C certificate. Fällaren is newly certified for Swedish area E (August 2019).

The vessel is owned by a small Swedish limited company (aktiebolag/AB) and the owners prefer to see the company sold with the vessel as an asset. The vessel can be inspected at Beckholmen in Stockholm, Sweden.

Historial

Built for the Swedish Navy in Kalmar in 1941. Initially as an ammunition ship, later rebuilt to mine transport ship. In active service until the early 1990s. Fällaren only had two skippers during the entire period.

Saknas

The bridge connecting to the original captain's cabin. Bathroom with toilet and shower from 2017.

Engine room with two Volvo MD100A. 5200 engine hours.

Last dry docked in 2017 when the vessel was blasted and painted below the waterline together with new anodes and rudder bushes. The electrical system was reviewed and a number of components were replaced. An ultrasonic test was performed.
