Machinery

  • (huvudmotor)Main engine: 2 Scania DSI14 75 M 14 S, 2 x 625 bHp. at 2150 rpm, 4000/2600 running hours, installed 1998/2001, overhauled 2013/2014, Port side engine suffered a grime breakdown on 4th cylinder summer of 2013 whereby the engine was overhauled. It then decided to proactively overhaul also starboard engine. The job was carried out late in 2013 but was partially redone because she, after few hours of the spring of 2014 got a crack in one of the casings. This was due to material defects in the spare parts, and it became a warranty subject.
    On starboard engine we also changed the turbo, port side engine turbo was replaced at renovation. Starboard side has also had its diesel pump renovated.
